The Pennies for Wink main site has received its face lift. There is a little more content as well as several new stores. I will be adding more content to the site in the near future. The content that may be indexable that I added is a catalog directory page. I wrote up a small blurb about the content of each of my catalogs and linked directly to the pages.

I used my keyword tool to find interesting words for several of these blurbs. Some I could not come up with a good base term and some I just wrote off the top of my head. I will be interested in measuring the response to see if the keyword rich blurbs pull more traffic.

As I mentioned, I have installed the KeywordLuv plug-in on this blog. I do manually approve comments, but if you write a quality relevant comment I will approve it. I will not approve comments that add no value to the posts or blog.

Check out the site update on the main site and tell me what you think. Is there something, beside more real content, that you would suggest that I do?

I made several more Amazon store pages for the main site. I will need to support these with some real content pages. I am also going to write a directory page with a description of the various store pages. I will be uploading a bunch of new pages this evening or tomorrow, so check out the new look of the main site soon.

The Amazon stores are displayed through an Iframe. Search robots can not index information that is in an Iframe because the information is on another server. Therefore I will need to add pages with some keyword rich content that can be indexed and possibly direct some traffic to the store pages. Now that I have brought this to the front of my mind I have some catalog pages on another site or two that I should check out. If they are also done with Iframes that content will not be indexed either.

The good thing about this type of store is that one does not have to worry about keeping the content current. Amazon or the other provider maintain the catalog and it is just displayed on my page. If they change their catalog that is immediately reflected on my site.

Now we will have to see if I can drive some targeted traffic to the pages.

If you have any quality thoughts on this subject please leave a comment. This blog has the KeywordLuv and Do Follow plug-ins installed, so you will be rewarded with a keyword backlink.

Thanks!

I am working on some additions to the main Pennies for Wink site. Along with these additions I have added the KeywordLuv and Do Follow plug-ins to this blog. I do have the blog set to manually approve comments, but if you leave a relevant comment to a post I will be happy to approve your comment. The KeywordLuv plug-in allows you to have a more appropriate link. You fill out the box with YourName@YourSite and in the comment author area it returns YourName From YourSite. I have also installed a do follow plug-in, so these links will now point a search spider to your site.

I will be adding the usual complement of auxiliary pages to the main site and redoing the site nav to accommodate these additional pages. I will also try to find some relavent reprint articles and may even write some original content for the site. I will also try to update/expand the commercial messages, don’t you just love it?

I will also try to post something interesting enough to allow for comments on somewhat of a regular basis. If you have any suggestions for thought provoking topics that might fit with the theme of the site – Leave a Comment!!

Thanks
