Good Deals from Tiger Direct

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

I just got an update from Tiger Direct that lists some interesting deals.

Did you recently get a netbook and need a monitor to see the tiny screen? The netbook class is a good idea for an inexpensive mobile computer, but the screens are tiny. If you want to use one for more than on-the-go connectivity a regular monitor makes them much more comfortable to use. Tiger Direct has this offer:  SAVE $30 – eMachines 17″ Widescreen LCD Monitor Refurbished 1440×900 WXGA+ VGA Black $84.97

Is it time to get a GPS? The prices have come down to a very reasonable range for a very useful navigation tool. With a GPS you don’t have to stop and ask for directions because you will always know where you are and where you are going. The devices even talk to you!! Tiger Direct has this one to offer:   SAVE $120 – Garmin Nuvi 265T GPS 3.5″ Touch Screen Text To Speech Bluetooth $179.99

How about a new video card for your PC? I had a hard drive crash recently. The computer sat for a couple of months (it is my backup computer). When I got around to reinstalling the OS so that the computer could be used, the video card had gone south. It does function with the legacy drivers but will not work with a real driver. Just in time, Tiger Direct has this one:   SAVE $120 – EVGA GeForce 8500 GT Video Card 1GB GDDR2 PCIe SLI Ready DVI/VGA HDTV $39.99* after $35 Mail-in rebate, rebate expires 12/31/08 or for one with a litt more power they have this one:  SAVE $30 – XFX GeForce 9600 GSO Video Card 768MB DDR2 PCIe 2.0 Dual DVI SLI Ready $79.99

And for a great experience in home entertainment at a deep discount check this out:   SAVE $1100 – Sharp 52″ Aquos LCD HDTV LC52D64U 1920x1080p 10000:1 DCR PC Input 3x HDMI $1399.99

These are only a few of the deals that are out there from Tiger Direct. If you would like to check out Tiger Direct’s Daily Deals visit the Pennies for Wink Tiger Direct Daily Deals page!!

SBI Holiday Special Extended

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

There is one program that I have seen that I believe is the real deal. That is the Site Build It program. This is the program that I have seen recommended by an affiliate network. You will see the Site Build It logo at a lot of good websites.

I am an admin in a forum for a WYSIWG html editor. Part of the responsibility is to check out registrants to make sure that they are real people (the forum has a zero spam policy). I discovered that one of the registrants was a successful Internet marketer. The site that he listed in his application was an SBI site. I emailed him and asked why he used an SBI site. He replied that the tools provided by Site-Sell made the SBI site worthwhile for him. This is one program that gives full support to their customers. Many of their users have more than one site.

The holiday special is a Two for One deal and has been extended to January 5th, 2009. They provide hosting and full back-end support. So check out the program at Site Build It today!!
