The Traditional Information About Us
Nearly every site that you find has an about us page. It is somewhat of a tradition, but there is some good information available in most cases. Usually the about us page is a short biographical sketch of the person or company behind the website. It gives the site a bit of personalization. We will attempt something similar here.
This domain name was purchased when I first was thinking about making a bit of money online. I had only a hazy idea about how that could be done. I thought that I would set up this site and tell my friends and they would tell their friends. Then reality set in and the site has languished.
I set up a blog on the space and made a few posts, but I have not even kept up with those. I set up some store - catalog pages, however, one of the merchants discontinued their feed and the substitute feed is not one that I would choose except under very special (other) circumstances.
I am basically a hobbyist. I like to build sites, that is the fun part for me. But a site needs visitors to make it worth the time and the expense. In order to have visitors somebody has to set up some sign posts in places where people might see them. If the visitors are going to stay more than a second there needs to be some content for them to read.
I will be working to improve this site and perhaps even put up a sign post or two. I have been studying the concepts and should put some of that effort into the site. If I am successful someone may, one day, actually read these words.
